Thoughts
Main Core: 57 cards Side Core: 10 cards
These are some similar lists.
Bauble wins! For now. If you expect lots of BUG (or decks with Collector Ouphe) and/or Null Rod, other (Blue) cards are likely the better choice, but for now 2 or 3 copies of Mishra's Bauble seems to be a staple. Flusterstorm, though. Is it better to trim down and have Force of Negation main? Might be with all the Jewel Shops coming around these days.
Tsubasa_Cat chose to play four copies of Steel Sabotage this week. Interesting, because the number has been two or three ever since Initiative showed up to the format. Speaking with them, it was a call based on the expected number of Jewel and Prison Shops, but even Tsubasa said that maybe discoverN's choice of going in on hard, specific counters such as 3 Force of Negation (1 main, 2 side) and 2 sideboard Mindbreak Trap might be a better choice for the current meta.
discoverN surprised me with a single copy of Ray of Enfeeblement. While it misses any Initiative creatures that have been pumped by Forge (The room in the dungeon that gives 2 +1/+1 counters.), it takes care of most of the creatures out of Initiative we are concerned about and also hits Lavinia in UW Initiative. Sure, it's no slowtrip, but one mana is what Doomsday wants to pay for its removal.
