Is Doomsday dead? Two lists this week, and one is me from a paper event. (I did top 8, yay me.) I looked around to see if I could find any published list from last week, but no such luck.

Thoughts
Main Core: 58 cards Side Core: 9 cards
Vertyx_ is on trusty ol' Duress and I chose to split the copies of Portent and Sleight of Hand. This was mostly because I own one German copy of each. Not a whole lot of thought went into that.
The big sideboard differences are not everyone seems to have gotten my memo on Cut Down. I even decided to say "Fuck Dredge." this weekend and went without Leyline of the Void. The only time I might have wanted them was versus Oops, All Spells. But I followed the same logic I was going to if I ended up playing against Dredge: Combo faster.
Looking at the data, it's not that people are losing with Doomsday. It's not being played. Only one person played it in the challenges this weekend, and they had some bum luck in the early rounds, it seems. That happens. But why is no one playing?
Breach numbers are on the rise and the majority of Tinker decks seem to be Grixis. This means Brain Freeze is more prevalent, and it's dangerous for Doomsday. Then again, with as few copies as those decks play (often one), just be sure to counter their tutors, and you should be fine. No guarantees. Sorry. I can only promise so much.
