Thoughts
56 Main and 5 Side cards are the same this week. As usaualy we have the [[Watery Grave]] players, so it's the same three slots that we've discussed before. What Draw or Interaction do you choose and what numbers? Nothing interesting in this, except for maybe a main [[Duress]] which hasn't been seen much as of late. [[Treasure Cruise]] is up and that is probably a result of the influx of Jeskai to fight the influx of Tinker. That's how the meta game works, right? Sideboards are interesting, though.
The big showers here are [[Fatal Push]] and [[Duress]]. Again, Jeskai. Unique cards include [[Grafdigger's Cage]] and [[Dress Down]]. (Played by me, whoops.) I think I was a week behind on Dress Down, although it does buy a turn against [[Tarmogoyf]])(s) as well as opens up some options against [[Lavinia Azorius Renegade]]. Granted, [[Fatal Push]] might just be better because we can just use [[Hurkyl's Recall]] to get rid of Constructs and Fatal Push is the permanent answer we need more often. That said, testing because that's how we do the game, eh? (Also, I'm not disregarding SingPanMan's unique choices, but they have been well discussed.)
Doomsday is on a downswing. One person registered it in the ManaTraders Series this weekend and I didn't write an article last week not because I was lazy or busy (I was.) but because there was one list in all the events posted. Yikes.
That said, Magic is cyclical. As people fight the Big Jeskai Menace, Doomsday might find a way to sneak back in. Or we find better, more universal sideboard cards. Or, as always, better lucky than good.
