Before I start this week I want to say I've decided to cut out the League lists from this data from now on. Since Wizards only picks one out of any number, I don't think it helps too much. The Challenge data should be enough.
But that does not mean I am not looking at the lists, and Thiim gave us a doozy this week with a BUG version of Doomsday in Vintage
Four slots are dedicated to Abrupt Decay, and one Underground Sea and the standard Island are dropped for a Bayou and Tropical Island. The real spice comes in the sideboard where there are four copies each of Elvish Spirit Guide and Force of Vigor. Abrupt Decay is a great answer for many of the problem cards in the format, and teaming up with Force of Vigor lets the deck handle some of the increase in Shops decks there have been as of late.

Differences From Last Week
The only big difference from last week is a more consistent reliance upon Leyline of the Void for Dredge. It was overall a solid showing for the deck, with a first, second, and third place amongst the two challenges, along with two more top-32 placings. Let's take at the differences between those lists.
MaxMagicer (3rd Place) Differences
Main (8) 1 Chain of Vapor 1 Fetch Land 1 Treasure Cruise 1 Watery Grave 1 Duress 1 Mystical Dispute 2 Flusterstorm | Sideboard (9) 1 Tasigur, the Golden Fang 2 Fatal Push 1 Gurmag Angler 1 Mystical Dispute 1 Duress 1 Chain of Vapor 1 Steel Sabotage 1 Leyline of the Void |
pokerswizard (22nd Place) Differences
Cherryxman (1st Place) Differences
SingPanMan (2nd Place) Differences
revenantkioku (28th Place) Differences
Main Differences
Draw (13) 2 Cling to Dust 2 Peek 6 Street Wraith 3 Treasure Cruise Interaction (17) 3 Chain of Vapor 2 Duress 5 Flusterstorm 4 Force of Negation 3 Mystical Dispute | Lands (10) 6 Fetch Lands 1 Snow-Covered Island 3 Watery Grave |
Watery Grave is becoming more and more standard. SingPanMan was the only one to run Opposition Agent, although that could likely be tied to a supply issue as there weren't many Agents or Hullbreachers in either event.

Sideboard Differences
Bazaar (12) 4 Leyline of the Void 1 Surgical Extraction 7 The Tabernacle at Pendrell Vale Shops (6) 2 Hurkyl's Recall 4 Steel Sabotage Discard (5) 5 Duress Creatures (7) 1 Gurmag Angler 4 Tasigur, the Golden Fang 2 Opposition Agent | Lands (4) 1 Cavern of Souls 1 Karakas 2 Island Counters (4) 1 Flusterstorm 1 Mindbreak Trap 2 Mystical Dispute Removal (7) 2 Chain of Vapor 2 Eliminate 2 Fatal Push 1 Feed the Swarm |
Everyone ran 4 Leyline of the Void except for Cherryxman, who chose to run a Surgical Extraction instead. Tabernacles are usually a two-of, except for MaxMagicer not running any. My guess is Gurmag Angler and maybe Chain of Vapor come in instead. I choose to run one only because of a stubbornness to keep my paper and MO lists the same. I was also the only one who chose to run Hurkyl's Recall, although it wasn't enough as I lost to Shops in the first two rounds. Everything else is fairly normal for up to this point. Personal preference.
I've been hearing Hullbreacher has been showing up a lot in leagues lately, so it will be interesting to see if that will have an effect on how well Doomsday places this coming week. Opposition Agent might find its time to shine, too. However it seems right now people are focused on finding the best home for the new merfolk in town.
