A huge congratulations to discoverN for winning the Super Qualifier. Me? I was off to a three-one start and then accidentally fell asleep before round five. I bring this up because while I do not know discoverN's life, I do know that playing in a 11pm Sunday night tournament to Monday morning is a heck of a thing. Winning that tournament is a whole other story.
Lots of lists this week to go through.

Thoughts
I took both of ecobaronen's lists as well as lampalot's out of the data crunching because we have something fairly interesting going on there. And all three decks are the same list. But let's look at the ""standard"" Doomsday lists first.
We have a 54/9 core this week with SingPanMan still being on Watery Grave, meaning it mostly comes down to the three slots. Mostly everyone was on two Draw and a Counter, with one of SingPanMan's lists going for two counters and one draw and BluStalker choosing to play Discard instead of a Counter. Treasure Cruise is slightly more represented this week, but Portent is going strong. We might as well count it as a 55/9, though, as only one of SingPanMan's lists ran three Street Wraith. Everyone else ran four.
For the sideboards, Opposition Agent is not only in every list, but SingPanMan is running two. BluStalker played an Archive Trap for the mirror, but when I reached out to them, I was told they never had a chance to use it. SingPanMan continues to test cards as Relic of Progenitus shows up, as well as their usual Planar Void.
Now let's look at this transformational Doomsday piloted by ecobaronen and lampalot.
Doomsday's Shadow
Creatures (6) 4 Street Wraith 2 Thassa's Oracle Sorceries (17) 1 Demonic Tutor 4 Doomsday 1 Gitaxian Probe 1 Ponder 4 Preordain 4 Thoughtseize 1 Time Walk 1 Treasure Cruise Instants (20) 1 Ancestral Recall 1 Brainstorm 4 Dark Ritual 2 Daze 1 Demonic Consultation 1 Dig Through Time 2 Flusterstorm 4 Force of Will 1 Gush 1 Mental Misstep 1 Mystical Tutor 1 Vampiric Tutor | Lands (14) 2 Flooded Strand 1 Island 2 Misty Rainforest 2 Polluted Delta 2 Scalding Tarn 2 Underground Sea 3 Watery Grave Artifacts (3) 1 Black Lotus 1 Mox Jet 1 Mox Sapphire Sideboard (15) 1 Island 2 Flusterstorm 4 Death's Shadow 2 Fatal Push 2 Hurkyl's Recall 4 Steel Sabotage |
The main looks fairly normal until we get to the mana-base. Three copies of Watery Grave likely explains why Necropotence is missing from this list. Instead of Leyline of the Void, however, we see four copies of Death's Shadow. The two copies of Hurkyl's Recall seem to imply that Dredge is intended to be beat with either the standard Doomsday pile or Death's Shadow. From that sentence you can tell that I have no idea what the plan is. Still, like the BUG Doomsday we saw a few weeks back, it will be interesting to see if this continues to see play or is just another test that happened to have some good results.
