4-2, 14th! Best Doomsday showing of EWAsia 2023! Woo!

Okay, am I a little salty that I was one game away from top 8? Yes. Am I glad to get 14th? Sure am.
I was pretty happy with my no-Leyline sideboard. One, I dodged Bazaar. Two, Grafdigger's Cage and Surgical Extraction did work. Null Rod did a lot of work. Daze? I cut it on the draw most of the time, but on the play it was grand. Main Dress Down? Chef's kiss.
But Jewel Shops was to be expected. As was Oath.
Peek, yes, of all cards, may be my All-Star of the weekend. I might even write up an article entirely dedicated to Peek and Peeking. It felt that good.
This is my third paper Eternal Weekend. In 2019 I was new to the format and was happy to be playing Vintage. We all know how fucked 2020 and 2021 were. While in 2022 we were back in action, I had a pretty bad showing but still had fun. This year, I did way better than I could have imagined.
Next year? Maybe I'll 0-8, and I'll be a little sad on that day if I do. But I still have fun.
